She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Eugene and Gertrude Cox Bessire. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Sue Veteto Delvy (Mark Grear) and Gaye Lynn Veteto Bekkelund (Johnny Bekkelund); her granddaughters, Lana Michelle Bekkelund Ferguson and Trisha Danielle Bekkelund (Gypsy); her great grandchildren, Karissa Dawn Schlasman (Matthew Hill), Alyssa Grace Schasman, Jacqueline Olivia Ferguson and Jackson Robert Ferguson; and her great great grandchild Maizley Hill.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center (600 Avenue C, Valley Mills, TX 76689). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valley Mills Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in Bettie's honor to the Valley Mills Volunteer Fire Department.
