She was predeceased by: her parents, Gonzalo Rodriguez Sr. and Soledad Herrera Rodriguez; her husband Arturo Gonzales Sr.; her siblings, Arnoldo Rodriguez, Gonzalo Rodriguez Jr. and Graciela Casarez; and her grandsons, Matthew Luevano and Jordy Gonzales.
She is survived by: her siblings, Guadalupe Casarez of Corpus Christi and Armando Rodriguez of Arlington; and her children, Arturo Gonzales Jr. (Edna) of Universal City, Ruben Gonzales, Marta of Uvalde, Odilia Luevano (Alfredo) of Boerne and Rachel Flores (George) of Houston. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801).
