She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Lois (Barker) and John Milton Joines; her husband Robert Lee Jacobs, Sr.; her sister Reba Wisnieski; and her daughter-in-law Terresa Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Denton (Rusty) of Lillian, Alabama., Robert Lee Jacobs, Jr. (Sandra) of Uvalde, David Jacobs (Cindy) of Uvalde, Michael Jacobs of Uvalde and John Jacobs of Uvalde; her siblings, Billie Duyka (Rudy) of Newman, John Joines (Caroline) of Georgetown and Sammy Wisnieski of Wharton; and her grandchildren, Avril Jacobs Rodriguez, Jason Jacobs, Cassie Carreon, Bianca Kinsey, Brett Jacobs, Haley Cantu, Jennifer Jacobs and Taylor Jacobs. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baptist Temple Church (620 E Main St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1300 W Main St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
