He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Odell DuBose and Sarah Albert Browne; his daughter Amy DuBose McGehee; and his stepmother Annie Lee Ramsey Nickerson. He is survived by: his former spouse Uvaldean Estelle Armistead; his children, Allison DuBose Tomas (Don) of Sylva and Sarah DuBose McSween (Paul) of San Antonio; his wife Estelle Armistead DuBose; his son Win DuBose (Camile) of Uvalde; his son-in-law Dennis McGehee (Tane) of Uvalde; and his sisters, Jane Dreyfus (Seymour) and Marcy Gauntt. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Philip's Episcopal Church (343 N Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1300 W Main St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
