He was predeceased by: his parent Helmuth G. Klaevemann; his wife Wilma Joyce Pool; his mother Hedwig "Hattie" Schuldt (Hattie); and his siblings, Erwin "Sonny" Klaevemann, Jacqueline "Jackie" Sears and Barbara Klaevemann.
He is survived by: his children, Kerri Shimp (Sterling), Kelli Cheever (David), Larry Holden (Peggie) and Jimi Klaevemann; his grandchildren, Karlee Wilmot (Eric), Kannon Shimp (Marina), Kessler Shimp (Jaden), Kassidy Lewis (Quinton), Joy Cheever, Colton Cheever, Steven Holden (Jennifer), James Holden and Douglas Murphy, Jr. (Beth); and his great grandchildren, Oaklee, Owen, Oliver, Andie, Miles, Alexis and Christian.
