It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Devella Gass (Uvalde, Texas), born in Barksdale, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Robert Hobbs and Velma Beatrice Fogle Hobbs; her husband Paul; her son Paul Irvin Gass, Jr.; and her sisters, Zrayda Jean Rushing (Lon), Oveta Felicia Hobbs, Alerta Othelia McCarty (Jerry) and Estella Mae Green (Bobby).

She is survived by: her children, Paula Gass Gilleland (Leslie) of Sabinal and Mike Gass (Desiree) of Uvalde; her grandchildren, Shea Gilleland (Junior), Tammi Burris (Corey), Wesley Gilleland, Paul Gass and Coby Gass; her great grandchildren, Robbie Rodriguez Ill (Christina), Paige Gilleland, Hailey Gilleland, Karlee Contreras, Kamryn Contreras, Joseph Contreras, Julianna Contreras, Memphis Gilleland, Dillon Cuppes (Kristin), Leann Cuppes, Leslie Cuppes (Mark) and Taylor Gass; her great great grandchildren, Aubri Rodriguez, La'lee Rodriguez, Kay'lee Rodriguez, Robbie Rodriguez, IV, Zayden Rodriguez, Kayden Jones, Payten Gilleland, Baylin Martinez, Ella Wilson, Tripp Wilson, Paisley Burris Ryder Burris, Tatium Cuppes, Tilden Cuppes, Temple Cuppes, Kinslee Cuppes, Hunter Cuppes, Oaklynn Cuppes, Hartley Cuppes and Ian Wiekamp; and her friends, Rock Hibbitts and Pete Simpson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
