He is survived by: his children, Richard D. Story Jr. (Kelli Story) of Tacoma, WA, Lisa of Algonquin, Gregory Story (Clark Miller) of Chicago, IL and Michael Story (Katie Story) of Uvalde; his sister Judi Norman of Des Moines, IA; and his grandchildren, Nicki, Rickey, Sophie, Amanda, Audrey, Dalton, Marlowe and Tatum.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sabinal Methodist Church (200 Fisher Ave W, Sabinal, TX 78881).
Pallbearers are Gerry Shudde, Greg Bales, Sidney Clary, Bobby McIntosh, Al Haughey, Tedd Norman, and Todd Norman, In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sabinal Methodist Church or Wounded Warriors Project.
