She was predeceased by: her mother Julia Fuentes; her husband Porfirio Arreola, Sr.; her children, Porfirio Arreola, Jr., Daniel Arreola and Gloria Guzman; and her stepgrandson Benny Arriola, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Ponciano Arreola (Berlinda) of Uvalde; her stepson Benny Arriola (Kathy) of Wallis; her siblings, Marta Guerrero of Salem, Maricela Rivera of Uvalde, Jose Martinez, Jr. of Dallas and Frankie Sotelo of Plains; her grandchildren, Jennifer Garza, Louie Aguilar, Jr., Jessica Samarripa, Mario "Tony" Guzman, Mark Guzman, Michael Arreola and Anthony Arreola (Danny Arreola); and her stepgrandchildren, Chris Arriola, Matthew Arriola, Mark Arriola, Benjamin Arriola, Melissa Arriola, Sunny Arriola, Amber Arriola and Melissa Cocchiaro. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801).
