It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Padgett Wayne Montgomery (Uvalde, Texas), born in Greenville, Texas, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Padgett C. Montgomery and Elizabeth Henderson Montgomery; and his wife Dabney Habermacher Montgomery. He is survived by: his children, Padgett Wayne Montgomery, Jr. and Sherri Lane (Leo); his former wife Shirley; his grandchildren, Clayton Lane (Holly), Taylor Lane Jurado (Gary), Mia Montgomery Schroller (Dalton) and Capri Montgomery; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Jurado, Elliott Jurado, James Lane and Stella Lane. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
