He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elsie Gallardo and Oscar Cruz Sr.. He is survived by: his sister Denise Cruz (Joe Ovalle); his nephew Roberto Reyna Jr. of Uvalde; and his niece Kristen Reyna (Joshua Hinojosa). He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
