She was predeceased by: her parents, Teresa Reyes (Flores) and Fermin Reyes; her spouse Edmundo Garcia; her son Edmundo Gilbert Garcia; her granddaughter Candace Teresa Garcia; and her brothers, Miguel F. Reyes and Alejandro F. Reyes.
She is survived by: her children, Carmela Cano (Antonio) of Uvalde and Rene Garcia of Uvalde; and her siblings, Elisa Canales of Uvalde, Herlinda Reyes of Uvalde, Jose Reyes of Uvalde and Rev. Raul Reyes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
