She was predeceased by: her husband William Ruark. She is survived by: her daughter Sue Ruark Berry (Mike) of Uvalde; her sister Ellen Armstrong of Uvalde; and her close friend Jesinia Olivarez of Uvalde. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
