He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Alvarado Sr. and Andrea Morua; his sister San Juana Alvarado; and his brother-in-law Eliberto Rendon. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Candela of Uvalde; his children, Luis Alvarado Jr. of Crystal City, Jennifer Alvarado of Uvalde, Nancy Martinez (Jonathan) of Uvalde and Crystal Barrera (Antonio Jr.) of Hereford; his stepchildren, Myda Sanchez (Adam) of Houston, Jonathan Candela (Lagean) of Minnesota and Victor Candela Jr. of Minnesota; and his siblings, Pedro Alvarado Jr. (Maria) of Eagle Pass, Maria A Rendon of Uvalde, Marisol Alvarado of Uvalde and Alma Garza (Alejandro) of Uvalde. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; multiple niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home (424 Geraldine St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A prayer was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801).
