He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Gonzalez (Robledo) and Margarito Gonzalez; his wife Rebecca Martinez; his son Gilbert Gonzalez; and his sisters, Bertha Rangel, Mela Rodriguez and Susie Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Sanchez (Esteban) of Uvalde, Veronica Frausto (Alfredo) of Uvalde and Rogelio Gonzalez of Uvalde. He is also survived by numerous grand children, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
