He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Louise Coleman (Lew); his former wife Betty Bare of Lowake; his wife Charlotte Maddoux Davenport; his father Lew Wallace Davenport; his siblings, Ivan Coleman Davenport, Gregory Roy Davenport and Betty Lou Nicholson of Lafayette, Louisiana.; his children, Tripp Davenport (Lew) of Uvalde and Lisa Mansour (Brian) of Richmond, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Taryn Lorraine Mansour of Richmond, Trevor Mansour of San Antonio, Austin Mansour of Plano, Dustin Pady of Uvalde and Christopher Salinas of Uvalde, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the National Butterfly Center 3333 Butterfly Park Drive, Mission, Texas.
