She is survived by: her children, Regina Lara Peña of Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Rupert Peña, III of Junction, Texas, Ruby Gonzales of Uvalde, Brianna Gonzalez of Uvalde, Texas and Juan Gonzalez of Fort Carson, Colorado; and her siblings, Anna Benavides (Arnulfo) of Rocksprings, Lucy Lee Lara of Uvalde, Louella Lara of Uvalde and Loreno Rodriguez of Uvalde. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
