She was predeceased by: her father Francisco Mendoza; and her sister Esperanza "Espi" Ortiz. She is survived by: her mother Eloisa Rodriguez (Rodriguez) of Uvalde; her husband Oscar Amaya of Uvalde; her children, Madeline Mendoza (Joe Ben Acosta) of Uvalde, Samantha Pacheco (Brandon) of Christine, Texas and Donavan Amaya of Uvalde; her siblings, Lavonne Rodriguez of California, Eloisa Mendoza of Uvalde, Adela Benavidez (Salinas) of Uvalde, Carmen Medina of Laredo, Margie Jimenez of Laredo, Frank "Boogie" Mendoza of Jourdanton, Joe Mendoza of Universal City, Francisco "Panchinto" Mendoza, Alberto Mendoza of Uvalde and Javier Mendoza of Uvalde; and her grandchildren, Cobin Acosta, Kolten Acosta, Avery Pacheco, Brady Pacheco and Brandon Pacheco. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
