He is survived by: his wife Irma McDonald of Uvalde; his children, Leisl Bryant (Bart) of Mount Vernon and Jim McDonald (Shelly) of Marshall; his stepchildren, Susie Arredondo (Francisco Blanco) of Uvalde, Elsie Sanchez (Jason) of Uvalde, Rafael Vera III (Belinda Guzman) of Uvalde and Johnny Joe Vera (Michelle) of Uvalde; his siblings, Janie Olivarez and Hector Olivarez (Mary) of Uvalde; his grandsons, Hunter McDonald, Tristan McDonald and Tucker King; and his stepgrandchildren, Orlando Garcia of Uvalde, Stefanie Garcia of Uvalde, Yzabella Sanchez of Uvalde, Klariza Sanchez of Uvalde, Alexis Vera of Uvalde, Desiree Vera of Uvalde, Monica Vera of Uvalde, Pete Arredondo II of Uvalde and Adison Cruz of Uvalde. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
