He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Rodriguez (Corona) and Cruz Rodriguez; his wife Elvira Rodriguez; and his children, Norma Moran, Virginia Rios, Rita Rodriguez and John Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Alvarez of Eagle Pass, Ester Ortega of Illinois, Cruz Rodriguez of Illinois, Arturo Rodriguez of Illinois, Michael Rodriguez of Illinois and James V. Davis of Illinois. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
