James Lee Hensarling Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Hensarling of Uvalde, Texas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hensarling; his daughters, Amy Hensarling Carnes (James Ray, Jr.), Sarah Hensarling Tafolla (Mariano) of Uvalde, Desiree Schorp (Blaine) of Jourdanton, Deanna Hill of Mexia, Kathy Ward (James) of Seguin and Melody Langston (Daniel) of Bandera; his grandchildren, Miller James Carnes, Robin Wright, Kami Buri, Tyson Griffin, Jamie Gugliotti, Nathan Ward, Mason Gates, Walker Ward, Jentry Rome and William Gates; and his brothers, Gary Hensarling of San Antonio and Robert Hensarling (Carrie) of Uvalde.
During the pandemic he focused on his ham radio hobby and became a certified member of the DX Century Club issued by the American Radio Relay League.
