He was predeceased by: his parents, Indalecio P. Quiroga and Fidelia R. Quiroga; his wife Elsa Ramos Quiroga; his daughter Stella Q. Romero; and his brothers, Basilio Quiroga and Juan Quiroga.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Q. Rangel (Manuel G. Rangel) and Andy Quiroga (Darlene Moreno); his sisters, Emma Ruiz and Zulema Murillo of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Marysa Martinez (Chris Cruz), Cristina Evans (Gene Evans), Manny Rangel (Gabriella Villarreal), Krystle Rangel (Fernando Rivera), Daniel Romero of San Antonio, Gerry Romero (Vanessa Romero) of Virginia, George Samson, Jimmy Olivarez and Alexis Quiroga. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
