He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Saldaña and Pablo Garcia; his wife Virginia Flores; his siblings, Guadalupe Arizmendi, Francisca Sanchez and Alberto Garcia; and his niece Eva Mireles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Norma De Los Santos (Juan) of Uvalde and Rosalba Garcia (Hector Hernandez) of San Antonio; his sisters, Paula Mireles of Eagle Pass and Juany Salinas of Eagle Pass; and his grandchildren, Angie De Los Santos, Johnny De Los Santos, Fernando De Los Santos, Gigi Nava, Alec Hernandez and Penelope Hernandez. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
