She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonia Chapa (Villarreal) and Serapio Chapa; her siblings, Diamantina Musquiz, Ermandina Carmona, Enedina Perez and Jose Jesus Chapa; her siblings-in-law, Leandro Musquiz, Joe Carmona, Adolfo Perez, Mary Alice Chapa and Mercedes O. Chapa; her nephew Lee Roy Chapa, Jr.; and her great-niece Mary Alice Chapa.
She is survived by: her brother Lee Roy Chapa of Uvalde; and her nieces and nephews, Christine Chapa of Uvalde, Lisa Garza (Martin) of San Antonio, Katherine Chapa (Martin Hernandez) of Uvalde, Cynthia Besares (Roger) of Uvalde, Armandina Herrera (Edward), Enedina "Nani" Chapa of Uvalde, Enedina "Annie" Chapa of Uvalde, Lidia Musquiz of Uvalde, Larry Chapa, Sr. of Uvalde, Richard Chapa of Leakey and Joe Chapa of Uvalde.
