He is survived by: his wife Lidia Prado of Uvalde; his children, Eugenio Joel Guedea, Jr. of Uvalde, Elmer Guedea of Uvalde, Guillermo Guedea (Lucia) of Uvalde, Martha Velasquez (Richard) of Uvalde and Alexandra Sotelo (Raul) of Uvalde; and his sister Alicia Ramos of Batesville. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
