She is survived by: her sons, Joey Valdez Lara of Uvalde and Manuel De La Garza of Uvalde; and her siblings, Annette Valdez of Uvalde, Henry Valdez, Jr. of San Antonio and Eloy Valdez of Uvalde. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
