He is survived by: his children, Jeanene Carlson and Mark Anthony Garcia of Uvalde; his siblings, Pedro Zamarripa of Uvalde, Richard Zamarripa (Sabrina) of San Antonio, Patricia Gonzalez (David), Maryann Cooper of Uvalde, Mary Agnes Quintanilla (Mario) of Uvalde and Rosa Gomes (Randy) of Uvalde; his grandchildren, Milachi Garcia of Uvalde, Colton Levar of Santa Rosa and Laiandra Schaffer of Santa Rosa; and his nieces and nephews, Pete Portillo, Roberto Garcia, Michael Gomes, Ricardo Zamarripa Jr., Ricardo Zamarripa Sr. and Petro Zamarripa.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home (424 Geraldine St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801).
