He is survived by: his mother Maria Soto; his wife Josie Rodriguez of Uvalde; and his children, Edward Rodriguez Jr. (Ivory) of Uvalde and Carissa Sandoval (Michael) of Uvalde. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
