He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Garduna and Javier De Leon; and his siblings, Ernesto, Jose Maria, Seferino, Aurelio, Jose Fernando De Leon, Jesusita, Aurora, Eduviges, Dora Elida and Olga De Leon.

He is survived by: his sons, Eduardo Z. De Leon of Uvalde and Andres (Norma De Leon) of Uvalde. He is also survived by one brother.
