She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Mallott Bess and J. W. Bess; her sister Jimmie Ruth Conoley; and her daughter Jeri Linn Jones. She is survived by: her children, Jae Thompson (Ross) of Uvalde, Jody Jones (Kimberley) of Doss and Jarret Jones of San Antonio; and her grandchildren, Madisyn Claire Jones, Kennedy Linn Thompson and Gavyn Clay Jones.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Uvalde (300 N Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
