He is survived by: his mother Antonia Torrez (Perez); his wife Kathy Babbitt Hernandez of Uvalde; his children, Crystal Babbitt of Killeen and Travis Hernandez of Grand Forks; and his siblings, Paula Cmielewski of San Antonio, Santa Monica Baxa of Somerset, Juan Hernandez of Uvalde, Joe Hernandez of Campwood, Marcello Hernandez of Somerset and Scoop Hernandez of Uvalde. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
