She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Julia (Hernandez) and Lino Cancino; her husband Ignacio Cordova Hernandez; and her brothers, Maximino Cancino, Manuel Cancino and Agustin Cancino.
She is survived by: her children, Elsa Hernandez of Uvalde, Luz Maria Hernandez of Minnesota, Maria Guadalupe Medina of Piedras Negras, Mexico, Santiago Hernandez (Sandra) of Florida, Efren Hernandez of Minnesota and Silverio Hernandez of Minnesota; and her great grandchildren, Victory Briseis Rodriguez and Esme Weshahi. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, three other great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
