He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Hale Mireles; and his sister Dora Elia Mireles. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Martinez Mireles; his siblings, Oscar Mireles (Tonie) of Uvalde, David Mireles (Lisa) of Hondo, Texas, Deborah Mireles (Robert Martinez), Delia Padilla (Fermin) of San Antonio and Dora Hanson (Chris) of Uvalde, Texas.; and his nephews, Joel Mireles, Samuel Oscar Mireles (Samantha Diaz) of Uvalde, Marquez Diaz, Maverick Diaz (Michelle Koury) of Eagle Pass, Madison Koury, Champion Gonzales (Christa Castleberry) of Corpus Christi, Andrés Salgado and Gianna Salgado (Sarah Saenz) of Helotes.
