He is survived by: his wife Irma Alvarado; his children, Isabel Paula Zigmond (Mark) of Brackettville, Andrea Ray Sanchez (Bernardo) of Crystal City, Naomi Chapa of Uvalde, Rebecca Chapa of Uvalde and Adam Chapa, Jr. (Tanya) of Eagle Pass; and his siblings, Noemi Mejia of Uvalde, Refugia "Cuca" Hernandez of Crystal City, Eva Ramos of Nevada, Rachel Juarez of San Antonio, Olivia Chapa of Uvalde and Eugene Chapa of Uvalde. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
