He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariella Mauldin (Wentworth) and J. H. Mauldin; and his son Tom Mauldin. He is survived by: his wife June Mauldin; his sons, Sid Murray Mauldin, Jr. and Robert Mauldin, Sr. (Patricia Brent); his daughter-in-law Cindy Mauldin of Utopia; and his grandchildren, Robert Mauldin, Jr., Jena Smothers, Thomas Mauldin, Marisa Hathorn and Corrie Foster. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
