He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Lyssy of Vanderpool; his children, Shanna Taylor of San Antonio, Sandi Peterson (Craig) of Mico and Kyle Lyssy (Kathy) of Castroville; his brother Benny Lyssy (Christina) of Falls City; his grandchildren, Christian Taylor, Logan Lyssy (Autumn), Sydney Lyssy, Mason Peterson, Marin Peterson and Hagen Peterson; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Lyssy and Lydia Lyssy.
