He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Thomas Longbotham and Edna Ray Spohn (Darlene Rose Longbotham); his son Emory Bruce Longbotham; his parents-in-law, Gracie Jane Matthews Davenport and Roy James Ogletree; and his sister-in-law Mary Annalee Ogletree.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Rose Ogletree; his brother Jim Harold Longbotham (Carol) of Aransas Pass, Texas.; his daughters, Janice Carol Longbotham of Victoria, Karen Rose Sweet Frank (Bob) of Nags Head and Carla Grace Hamed (Waleed) of Utopia, Texas.; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Lynn Easley of San Antonio and Shirley Ann Davenport of Odessa, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Kristin Rose Arthurs (Steve) of Virginia Beach, Anthony Simon Sweet, Stephanie Michele Perry Buchhorn (Kenneth) of Victoria, Jennifer Nicole Gawande (Aakash) of Austin, Michael Ray Hamed (Elizabeth) of Leakey, Darlene Grace Freehauf (Kyle) of Hondo, Sharif Ali Hamed (Senisa) of Utopia and Aziz Dale of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana..
