He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tom Haby and Cora Haby; his former spouse Gracia Belle Bassett of Uvalde; his wife Mary Cunningham of Utopia; his children, Gracia Smaistrla (David) of Pearland, TX and Ernen Haby, Jr. (Cheri) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Amanda Hickernell (Jim) of Seattle, WA and Douglas Haby (Michelle) of Lemoore, CA; his great grandchildren, June, Peyton Hickernell of Seattle, WA, Hudson and Madelyn Haby of Lemoore, CA.; his stepchildren, Paulette Manning (Gary) of Bandera, Rodger Cunningham (Leslie) of Atascosa, Rebecca Boyce (Everette) of Bandera, Phyllis Deckert of San Antonio and Lewis Cunningham (Rachel) of San Antonio; his niece Iona Alley of Utopia; and his nephews, Dahl Howard (Gayle) of Kerrville and Tom Howard (Barbara) of Nacogdoches.
