He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Opal Crane McClain and Andrew Jackson McClain; his wife Inez; and his brother-in-law Joseph Clyde McReynolds, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Diane (Ken Messamore) of Beulah, Robert (Sue) of Goldthwaithe, Jackie (Sam Horton) of Sabinal and Don of Utopia; his grandchildren, Kelly Messamore (Ralph), Kim Miles (Mike), Kenny McClain, Lisa Keller (Chris), Dax Biederman (Jenn), Ross Horton, Linc Biederman (Carianne), Barbara Horton (Aaron), Bobbie Lee McClain and Zack Hudick; his great grandchildren, Jeff Nolan, Peyton Miles, Taylor Biederman, Caden Keller, William Biederman, Trevor Horton, James Edwards, Olivia Biederman and Coby Keller; his sister-in-law Lois McReynolds; his niece Valerie McReynolds; and his nephews, Greg McReynolds (Kim), Tim McReynolds and Chris McReynolds (Francelia).
