Sheffield III of Utopia, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Pearl (Spates) and Alexander "Sandy" Sheffield, Jr.; and his brother Michael C. Sheffield (Glenn Strahan). He is survived by: his wife Garnet Sheffield of Utopia, TX.; his children, Katherine Herring (Ocie) of League City, TX and Michael Kevin Sheffield of Houston; his stepdaughter Tina Marie Owens (Darrell) of Sheldon, TX; his grandchildren, Derek Tift (Jessica), Erin Smith, Kory Owens, Kyle Owens and Emily Strahan Fitch (Layton); and his great grandchildren, Isla Tift, Everly Tift and Jennings Fitch.
