He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Rick" Davis and Helen Wade Davis of Winchester; his siblings, Don Davis, Archie Davis, Shirley Sperling of Winchester and Janice Mae Davis of Winchester; and his aunts, Bertha Simmons of Meredosia and Nora Slagle of Winchester.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce Davis (Charlotte) of Fresno, Joyce Kay Havens of Pittsfield and Bill Davis (Viola) of Jacksonville, Illinois.; his wife Phyllis Davis; his pet Duke Davis of Cibolo, Texas.; his children, Rick Dean Davis (Lisa) of Jacksonville, Kenny Wayne Davis (Kelly) of Winchester and Antonia Davis Hernandez (Emilio) of Cypress, Texas.; and his stepchildren, Misty Elliot (Boots) of Stephenville, Joey Merian (Josie) of San Antonio, Texas., Danny Tellez (Linda) of San Antonio, Texas. and Monika Barragan (Kirk) of San Antonio, Texas.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, TX 78148). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:50 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
