With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jean Marroquin of Universal City, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Amescua and Gerardo Amescua; her husband Gerard L. Marroquin; and her siblings, Carol Caughfield, Elsie Brown and Gerard Amescua.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerard A. Marroquin (Julie) of Waco and John Marroquin of Universal City; her grandchildren, Lauren Able, Christine Capra, Katie Resler, Christian Marroquin and Andrew Marroquin; and her great grandchildren, Emmett Able, Finn Able and Avery Capra. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
