She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Giesa and Agnes Giesa; her husband Kenneth R. Tackett; and her brothers, George and Bernhardt Giesa.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth R. Tackett, Jr. (Faith), Angela Thomas and Ronald Tackett (Valerie); her grandchildren, Cory Tackett, Sheena Jordan (A. J.), Brandon Thomas, Alyssa Thomas, Mackenzie Tackett and Colton Tackett; her great grandchildren, Cooper Jordan and Grayson Thomas; and her sister Leisel Euler.
