With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Payne (Universal City, Texas), who passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Shelby J. Payne; and his sons, Timothy (Kathy), David (Sharon) and Jon (Twyla). He is also survived by seven grandsons and one granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Academy, 1401 Pat Booker Rd. Universal City, TX 78148.
