He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Joe and Lydia Ann Pense Perry; and his siblings, Delphia Robinson, Lee Perry, Richard Perry and James Perry.

He is survived by: his wife Rosa Marie Welkley Perry; his children, June Jackson of Canton, Arkansas, Jackie Bishop (Mike) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jennifer Edwards (Bryan) of San Antonio, Texas and Elmer Perry, Jr. (Jodi) of Leicester; and his brothers, Jack Perry (Mary) of Springdale and Tommy Perry (Irma) of West Fork, Arkansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
