She is survived by: her son Vernon Kay Sowell (Sandi Turkington Sowell); her daughter-in-law Monica Sowell; and her grandchildren, Lisa Luke Herlihy (Patrick), Rayleen Mace (Rob), Clay Sowell (Melissa), Maureen Binger (Bill), Brandon Sowell (Linda), Elizabeth Sowell, Cameron, Tyler Ballew, Charles, Sam Ray, Jake Binger, Abigail, Hannah Sowell, Ryan and Peyton Sowell.
