He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Ray Alfred, Sr. and Beatrice Alfred (Smith); his brothers, Ralph Alfred and Jerry Alfred; and his granddaughter Kimberly Pundsack.

He is survived by: his significant other Betty Wilkerson; his siblings, Ronnie Alfred (Angela), Tommy Alfred (Terry), Wendell Alfred (Mike) and Betty Jo (Wayne Wright); his daughters, Kathy (Craig Caudill) and Darla (Ken Pundsack); his grandchildren, Jeff (Carrie Pundsack), Clint (Cassie Caudill), Josh (Jennifer Caudill) and Jenny (Mark Rykowski); and his great grandchildren, Ashley Lobdell, Cody Lobdell, Jacy Pundsack, Kenzli Caudill, Aaliyah Caudill, Willow and Jax Caudill. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
