With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coy Whitener (Universal City, Texas), who passed away on February 28, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Coy Whitener to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Whitener and Jewel Whitener; and his brother Donald Whitener. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Warren (Joe) of San Antonio and Dr. Mark Whitener (Teresa) of Wichita, KS; his brother Larry Whitener (Misty) of Paris; and his wife Lyda Lee Robinson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He and Lyda moved to San Antonio in 2011 to be near their daughter after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
