It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Watkins Mays Jr. (Universal City, Texas), born in Seguin, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Azalea Zuehl Mays and Anthony Mays Sr.; his sisters, Mary Lee Roberts of Seguin and Azalea Rita Konop of Austin, Texas.; and his wife Helen "Jeri" Mays.

He is survived by: his children, Anthony Mays III (Shirley), Kimberley O'Reilly (Robert), Melissa Drennan and Robert Mays (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Stephanie Lea (Ryan), Michael Mays and Robert "Roby" Mays; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Lea and Madeline Jeri Lea; and his pet Kitty.

In lieu of flowers, Anthony would like dedications to St. James Catholic School of Seguin, TX (830-379-1796), and Texas Lutheran University of Seguin (830-372-8030).
