He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alonzo Walter and Gertrude Walter (Norman); his wife Second Lieutenant Doris Snyder; his daughters, Terry Gabreski (Don) and Beverly Myers (Gary); his grandchildren, Kimberly Yandell, Larry Myers, Matthew Gabreski and Mark Gabreski; his great grandchildren, Everett, Violet Yandell and Olivia Myers; and his sisters, Gwenn Bent and Myrna Stone.
