She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Lopez and Isabel Salazar; her husband Pedro Gutierrez Sr.; her children, Bertha Perez, Sylvia Gutierrez and Juan Gutierrez; and her sister Juanita Fuentes.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Puentes (Reynaldo) of Skidmore, Juanita Rodriguez of Skidmore, Irma Casillas of Mathis, Martha Moron (George), Esperanza Villerreal (Danny), Pedro Gutierrez Jr. of Mathis, Luciano Gutierrez of San Angelo and Larry Gutierrez of Tynan; and her sisters, Maria Zamoria, Gloria Paradez and Carmen Martinez. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
